Tales from gypsies and their foster horses.
Bella plays so hard, it is not surprising that when she crashes, it looks like this:
Chevy (Rock Star), a Mustang gelding who was rounded up when he was 4 by the BLM and then left alone by his adopter for 4 years. He was sent to SHHS by a rescuer. He is fearful of people but making progress.
Savannah (Diva), a Grade mare who was rescued with another horse from an owner who intended to shoot her so he could use his pasture for cows. She is strong-willed and the alpha horse of the herd.
Hanovi (Sunshine), a Standard-bred gelding who was surrendered because of his dominance over the previous owner's other horses. He is highly energetic and thrives on lots of activity. He participated in the Cracker Trail in 2013.
Gypsy (Spunky Chunky), an Appendix mare who was raised as a barnyard pet on a nearby property. She kept escaping through the fence, so her owner gave her to the sanctuary. She is spirited and mischievous. She loves people, attention and food.
The precious ponies are:
Mia (Mama Mia) Mama is more timid around people, but has a calmness to her overall.
Sophie (Sweet Cheeks) Sophie loves food more than anything in life and will do anything to get some! She plays quite a bit with Bella.
Bella (Bellarina) Bella is all energy and all movement! She is smart, spunky and full of curiosity. Bella doesn't simply walk to get places, she leaps in the air like a ballerina.
